Due to the high risk of severe storms forecast for Sunday, October 4, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Salomon Mitja Pirineu 21K®.
After reviewing the weather forecast with the relevant authorities and considering the available alternatives, we have concluded that the race cannot be held safely. This decision follows the same preventive approach applied to the changes made to the Salomon Ultra Pirineu® and the Salomon Marató Pirineu®: preventing runners, volunteers and teams from being in exposed mountain areas during the hours of greatest risk.
We recognise the time, effort and commitment every participant has put into preparing for the race, and we sincerely regret that it cannot take place. Over the coming days, we will contact all participants directly to explain the options available regarding their race entry.
