The Elite Athlete Program of the Salomon Ultra Pirineu identifies and manages the participation of high-level runners who meet the established requirements. The aim is to define a clear framework regulating participation conditions and the associated services.
Selection is based on each athlete’s ITRA Index (HERE you can find your index) at the time of registration.

2. TRAVEL
Elite 1 athletes in the 100k and 42k races who need to make long journeys to reach Bagà may be eligible for assistance, which may include partial or full reimbursement of travel expenses.

The conditions will be communicated on a personalized basis in the invitation email.
3. ACCOMMODATION
Elite 1 athletes in the 100k and 42k races are entitled to accommodation provided by the organization during the competition days.
Elite 2 athletes in the 100k and 42k races may apply for accommodation provided that there are vacant places available. Therefore, availability cannot be confirmed until two weeks before the event.
The stay includes two nights (from Friday to Sunday) and covers the total costs of accommodation and meals in a hotel, apartment, or rural guesthouse, depending on availability and event logistics.
Available options
Shared room with another elite athlete, in Bagà.
Room with an accompanyingperson, in accommodation located outside Bagà.
Winners of at least three editions of the 100k or 42k races will be entitled to hotel accommodation in Bagà with an accompanying person, always subject to availability.
Allocation criteria
Places are very limited. Therefore, if the number of applications exceeds the available places, the following points will be taken into account:

Final confirmation will be communicated individually to each athlete. Accommodation is a benefit offered by the organization, not an automatic right, and its conditions may be adjusted according to availability and the needs of the event
4. FREE ELITE BIB
All Elite 1, Elite 2, and Elite 3 athletes in all distances are entitled to a free elite bib number, as well as those who have finished among the top three male or female athletes in any of the last three editions of the distance in which they wish to participate.
Conditions and benefits of the elite bib:
Free of charge: Provided registration is completed before September 10. From that date onward, elite bibs will be subject to a fee.
Bib: Red-colored bib number.
Start access: Front row in the starting corral on Carrer Major.
Requirements: Compliance with the minimum requirements established in Article 1 of the regulations.
5. GUARANTEED GENERAL BIB (NOT FREE)
Runners in the Expert category may apply for a guaranteed general bib (not free of charge) once general registration is full.
This system guarantees a place and allows participation under the same general conditions as the rest of the runners.
Conditions and benefits:
Bib: Black bib number (non-elite), provided registration is completed before August 21.
Start access: Through the general access points, together with the rest of the participants.
Requirements: Compliance with the minimum requirements established in Article 1 of the regulations.
6. ATHLETE DUTIES AND COMMITMENTS
Athletes included in the Elite Program undertake a series of media and promotional commitments that contribute to the visibility of the race and its sponsors, always within a respectful framework.
These may include:
Press activities: attending the official press conference when requested.
Digital promotion: posting content on social media about their participation, respecting the event and sponsor image.
Broadcast support: wearing a double bib or GPS device if necessary for streaming or live coverage.
These activities are part of the Elite Program and acceptance implies a responsible collaboration.
7. ANTI-DOPING
Athletes must not be under any suspension, temporary or definitive, imposed by WADA or any official anti-doping body, in any sport, at race time.
Anti-doping controls:
The organization reserves the right to submit any participant to anti-doping tests during the race or outside race days.If a participant is suspended, they will be automatically disqualified, even if they pass the organization’s controls.
Purpose:
To ensure sporting integrity and a fair competitive environment for all participants.
8. CASH PRIZES
A total of €21,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers overall (men/women) in the SUP100k and SMP42k.

Mercedes-Benz Moventia Stern Prize
(*) Mercedes-Benz Moventia Stern will add €1,000 extra to the Ultra winner (male and female), and €2,000 if a course record is also set.
Important notes:
General classification prizes are open to all athletes, regardless of elite status.
Standard tax withholding applies.
Athletes must attend the prize ceremony to receive trophies and cash awards.
Overall winners do not receive age-group prizes.
In case of WADA claims, payment may take up to 90 days after the event.
